Jelly Girl Quilt Pattern by Fig Tree & Co (Printed Pattern)

$10.00

Using Jelly Rolls in new & exciting ways has been a lot of fun for me since MODA came out with these great little rolls. I look at patterns and ideas in a new way, always on the lookout for a traditional pattern that could be made with a Roll. I came across this block in a recent issue of one of my favorite Japanese magazines & it just "spoke" Jelly Roll. Simple pieced strips, cut apart on 60" angles make for a wonderful shape...& putting them back together in an unexpected way, makes for a wonderful little block that is "oh-so-easy" to assemble! One Jelly Roll, no templates, no "y" seams, no special rulers or supplies - just some 2-1/2" strips, your regular ruler and you are on your way to this fun, simple and quick to layout whimsical quilt. Inspired by a traditional template pieced block, this version will have you "swirling" away with amazement at how quick it is to cut & assemble. This will surely be a pattern you return to with every favorite Jelly Roll you can get your hands on.

Made using the "Patisserie" collection by Fig Tree for MODA.
